The Residence Bentota

I absolutely loved the beautiful decorations throughout the hotel. The attention to detail in the design was stunning and added a touch of elegance to my stay. The general areas, such as the lobby and lounge, were well-maintained and provided a comfortable space to relax and socialize. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior people like myself, with ramps and handrails in place to assist with mobility. It was a relief to know that the hotel took our needs into consideration.

The only thing I would have asked for to make my vacation even better as a senior woman is for the staff to be a bit more attentive. Sometimes, it felt like the children working there were a bit overwhelmed and didn't always provide the level of service I expected.

The room was clean and nicely decorated, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool. the location was great, just a short walk to the beach and town. the pool was fantastic, clean and well-maintained.

The mosquito situation was unbearable. the surrounding gardens and waterways were infested with these blood-sucking pests, and we were constantly being bitten.

The hotel's decoration was simply charming, with elegant furnishings and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, offering comfortable seating options for senior guests to relax and socialize. the hotel's accessibility for seniors was commendable, with ramps and handrails in place, making it easier for us to move around.

I would ask for more attentive service from the staff. The children working there seemed a bit inexperienced and could have been more helpful and attentive towards the needs of senior guests.

The location was ideal, just a short walk from the beautiful Bentota beach. We had a blast trying out various water sports like windsurfing and diving. The highlight of our trip was the beach party, where we danced and immersed ourselves in the lively Kanyan performances. The team at the hotel made sure we had everything we needed to stay active and fit, from organizing fun activities to preparing delicious and nutritious meals. It was a memorable experience for the entire family.

For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated play area for children.

I recently stayed at The Residence in Bentota for a few days and it was a wonderful experience. The garden was well maintained and provided a soothing atmosphere after my journey. The villa I stayed in was spacious, with a full kitchen and fresh and inviting bed and bathrooms. The swimming pool was amazing and a standout feature was that it was free from chlorine. I also enjoyed the convenience of having restaurants, a bakery, a market, and a temple nearby that added to the overall pleasantness of my stay.

Would recommend this hotel.
